As for this axe? If A-Net is going to remove it from every's inventory. Do the same thing with HoD Axes, and Swords. Also the old 20/20 rockmolder. Don't give us this crap of "OH, there a problem, we going to remove everything" Yeah right, look at HoD gears, and rockmolder, those still exist and people can sell it for tons of golds.

For me that seem dumb on A-Net's part because one they didn't nerf or remove that item like A-Net said. Two, people still can use those items. Three, you probably can put some decent mods on those which increase it's benefit a bit more.

So if A-Net want to play this nerfing game, than remove Hod Gears and Rockmolders from everyone's inventory rather than threaten to remove this SoA axes. Cuz that bull crap lies. And where is our holiday update?

I don't have a link handy, but there are several threads where I've seen convincing data, AND I have replicated those experiments myself. The relevant math here is quite simple, 20% + 20% = 40%. That's how 2 grips stack on this thing.
